Alberta SuperNet connects public institutions across the province – schools, hospitals, colleges, universities, libraries, and municipal offices – to a broadband network for high-speed Internet access, video conferencing, and other services.
Telecommunications companies and Internet service providers can “piggyback” onto the Alberta SuperNet network, making it possible for service providers to offer high-speed services to areas that, until now, have been too expensive or difficult to reach.
